Aaah Misdemeanor what do I do?

i did. he doesnt even know what its for. but they can only arrest him, if they pull him over for something else. so he doesnt drive right now, until he gets it sorted it. and its in a city, my dad barely goes to.

its a misdemeanor/traffic warrant then

he should call the court clerk, they may try and suspend his license, fyi

Yeah I just thought the best way to go about things was to be completely honest. I dont feel like I need them. Ive always been honest with cops before and got off the hook every time.

I was drivin last saturday at 3am and got pulled over for "disregarding a stop sign". They let me off the hook for that because I really didnt do it but gave me hell because I wasnt wearing my glasses when my license has the corrective lenses restriction. So they breathalizered me, searched my car and stuck me in the back of the cop car. I have to go to court this tuesday.
What do I do? How bad is a misdemeanor? I cant plead not guilty...I wasnt wearing my glasses and told them I wasnt wearing contacts either. Is there any way out of this?

When I was 19 I got a disragarding a stop sign citation too but they kept me in jail until the next morning. I ended up with a plea and took 90 days in the big house and a 5 year suspended sentence.

90 days is really a cake walk I would not worry about anything, just make sure you shank the first dude that steps to you so others will know you are not to be fucked with.

And you shouldn't have been put in the back of a cop car for this either.

I'd get a lawyer. You were treated unfairly, probably for being young/ignorant.

thats why i was on the run for 6 years....but your always looking over your shoulders when on the run...sometimes it gets to the point you want the law to catch up with you....just so you can go back to a semi normal life someday....

Yeah they put me in the back of a cop car and searched my car. Nice huh? They didnt find anything. Luckily I put my shoes on before the cops got to my window, then maybe I would be in federal prison for real. This stupid town has ridiculous cops with nothing to do.

x2. The judge will most likely make you pay court costs and put you on probation. That's what happened every time I went to court for a traffic violation when I was young.

I have been pulled over four times with out my glasses and they never told me a thing...

I was in the law enforcement field for a few years and have delt with my share of judges and lawyers. PM me with more details of your sitaution. Tell me your age, past traffic violations, what the breathalizer read, if you gave them attitude, if they gave you attitude, if they arrested you or just sat you in there car, if they patted you down and most importantly if they asked to search your vehicle and what propable cause (if any) they told you they were looking for. (Like if they asked you if you had any drugs on you of some sort) Sounds to me they might have been fishing.

It's worth your while to PM me so try and let me know tonight what fully happened and I'll guide you through what to say to the judge.
