A Small Doubt

I have a dual 4 ohm cvx wired to 2 ohm.

and an memphis 16-ST500D powering it . (500WX1 @ 2 ohm).

The output terminals of the amp look like this -> - + - +

I connected the sub to the first two i.e -> - + - +

 

it's correct right??

You have to connect both +'s together on the sub and both -'s together on the sub, then hook the amp to just one + and one -.

you want both VC on the sub to be hooked up, if it is a mono block you can hook up pos to pos and neg to neg from each terminal to each VC. 99 percent of most mono blocks are internally bridged so either way.

Just make sure you hook up both VC on your sub.
