A sad day indeed

I think you should contact Rainbow and tell them what happened. I will confess that once I froze an Aura 10" subwoofer by leaving it in my garage (Which is why I have no sympathy - because I lost an equally excellent driver due to carelessness myself) and while it wasn't under warranty, they sold me one at cost for my trouble. Perhaps you could have such luck as well?

 
Indeed we all do stupid things. I honestly didn't think anybody would have touched my car between 10 last night and 8 this morning (my parents have 4 cars and mine was harder to get at then two of them). It happened though...so I must live and learn!

Also, that's a very good idea about contacting Rainbow. I don't know if they can help me out, but its definitely worth a shot.
