A sad day indeed

Yesterday I was bored so I took the Germanium drivers out of my home audio towers and set them in my car next to my kicks. Basically, I wanted to write down a list of likes/dislikes between my current Eclipse drivers and the Germanium drivers. Anyways, I left them in there for the night without thinking much of it.

Well I got up this morning to find this:

The driver is definitely ruined as the cone is smashed enough to collapse the surround in one spot. I'm so upset about the whole thing. I don't know who drove my car or why they couldn't pay attention when they were shifting. There was plenty of room between the clutch pedal and the speaker... RIP my Germanium!

that sucks man, sorry to see that, hope you get a replacement set from the family //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Looks like you'll be reciving a new set of componants from a familiy member soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
yeah he better, id be raiseing some hell if i were you, those speakers arent cheap, not to mention driving your car without permission

Yeah it would be nice to get a replacement that's for sure. I dont know if it still plays, it probably would. Holy crap though, somebody must have thought it was the clutch cause there are dents underneath the dust cap (visible from the bottom side of the cone)!

I have kindof been thinking though...now that I only have 1 driver, does anybody want to audition a single Germanium driver??? It might be a way to make a bad situation okay.

Bad luck, guy. You screwed up, I hope you will learn from this mistake.

Am I missing something? Who lets people drive their car without asking permission first, family member or not? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif Nobody has my keys but myself, so they would have to ask. And the answer is still no.

Oh well, stupidity will end up in a lesson learned.....hopefully.

Indeed this is what I found out. Thanks for making sure I learned my lesson...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

It was a joke.
My bad bro. Sometimes people are so sadistic on this forum that I don't know when they are joking and when they aren't....

Also, I'm serious about somebody auditioning the other good driver. If you live around Oregon or want to pay shipping I would be happy to let you play with it for a while. It won't image right with only one, but you could get a feel for the Germanium's tone.
