RF Punch 8004 4 Ch 4X100 @ 4 oHMS

Front speakers Infinity 6.1 perfects 100Wrms 4 oHMS

Rear Speakers Diamond Audio CM-351 Coaxle components 80W rms

Under the back seat

RF Punch 4002 driving 2 MTX 10" Subs in plastic thunderform enclosure.

400W Bridged Mono @ 4 oHMS

Dumb Question?

After ugrading to all that I have a spare 4 channel amp 4X250 @ 4 oHMS

and 2 spare 10" MTX Subs in perfect condition.

Would it make sense to put the 2 Tens in a BOX with the amp inside and set in on my back seat. That would be 4 Tens powered by 2 amps. Both amps bridged would be putting out about 400W rms each.

If this is a good idea, what kind of box should I buy, vented, ported Etc?

Told you I was real dumb when it comes to this stuff but I like Bass.....

I'd like to know what amp you've got that is 250w X 4 RMS just to satisfy my own curiosity.

And are the two MTX 10s that the Fosgate amp is driving 8 Ohm subs or Dual 4 Ohm subs?

Amp brand is a Formula MACH-6000, bought it at a flea market 5 years ago and it has been flawless.

2005 MTX THUNDER T4510-44 CAR AUDIO SUBWOOFERS Dual Voice coils, I have them wired together to draw a 4 ohm load on my amp. 400W RMS Bridged mono and the speakers are rated at 450W RMS.

So anyone to answer my question?

Mach 6000 specs:

Maximum Output Power @2Ohm

250W x 4CH = 1000W

@2Ohm, Less than 0,3% THD

100W x 4CH = 400W

@4Ohm, Less than 0,1% THD

80W x 4CH = 320W

@4Ohm Bridged (MONO) Less than 0,3% THD

200W x 2CH = 400W

Just so noone has to google it for themselves.
