Take the sub out and see how it's wired or use a DMM to find out. I'm sure it's wired to 2 ohms.

Go to a place like bcae1.com, read until you have a basic understanding of some of the big principles involved here (like Ohm's Law, basics of how a circuit works, etc...) and come back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifwell since i am teh ultr@ N3W8 i wouldnt be able to tell if its 2ohm by looking at the wiring unless i had a pic to go by and i have no clue what a DMM is or were to find one.
you need a negative and positive jumper wire and you need to parallel them to the subs terminals if it is a dual voice coil.alright so i took my sub out and it was wired Positive to positive negative to negative so im assuming according to the diagram that its wired at 2 ohms. So now im assuming i need a good amp that does around 500rms at 2ohms @ 1 channel. im not trying to be useful just yet just trying to learn a few things and get help.
