A New Setup : Ford Mustang GT 2007

Hey all,

Hope you can help me out with this. Trying to figure out a new setup for my brand new Mustang. I had to sell my last setup which fit inside of my 99 Nissan Pathfinder (15" RE Audio SXXv2 w/ Hifonics BRX 1116.1D).

I have little experience within the car audio world and am looking for second opinions before I start my investment.

To start, I need new front door and rear (trunk) speakers. I'm planning on going with Pioneer TS-A1306C components for the front and some sort of coaxial for the trunk.

As far as a potential subwoofer goes, I am lost. I am willing to spend a fair amount for a subwoofer as I find it of utmost importance to a perfect car audio system. I need good, clean bass. There was no way in hell the 15" was fitting in the trunk, even with a newly designed box, so a 12" is my next option, and I am looking at a single Sundown X-12 D2 but can't decide on an amp in the price-range of $200-$400. The enclosure I plan on using is from this guy in California who makes custom design boxes specific to this subwoofer's needs (located here).

Any help would be much appreciated. Is this a good idea or am I an idiot? If I'm an idiot, please correct my idiot-ness.

Thanks
