A New Record!!!

Today, while doing an install, I ran across a problem...I blew 4 **** 40 amp fuses in 10 minutes. I was installing a 1200.1 running a 9512 @ 1 ohm. My question is am I blowing the fuses from too much current or what...I have never run across this before. Hey, we all learn new things every day!!!

1200.1 at one ohm will draw over 110A at full tilt.

You are extremely underfused. Make sure you are running adequate power wire also, 4ga minimum.

Thanks man...what does it pull at 2 ohms???

Shit, I just noticed my typo...it is a 60A fuse.

Been stated to do about 113 amps at max... at 2 ohms.. it gets a little more pissy at 1 ohm and draws a little more (hence the reports of it heating up more often), expect around 130ish then...
