the 2 cubic feet tuned to 30hz box on the 'free box plan' thread, how accurate is it?? my RE SE doesn't seem to go that high (frequency wise) and i blame that on the sub. but the lows don't seem as prominent as with my 2 8" TB's. btw, my 2 TB's are in a moe lester box............... 1.6 cubes at 28hz

Could be a lot of things, but IIRC the old SE's were better sealed box subs.

maybe so. the lower freqs are pretty good but from fromthe mid 60's on up the sound drops way down. funny u said that too, i have the older SE.....

can't see the link cause i'm at work, but thank you so much. i have a jbl1200.1 sub wired to 2ohms.

it must be the sub itself. the sound dips way down from the mid 60's on up. why do some subs do that anyway?? werd
