A Low Tuned Ported 15...equal or more Output as a Sealed 18?

I am thinking about getting a 15" and putting it in a Low Tuned Ported Box (~28 Hz, Cuz I still want my SQ)...Would I get more or equal out put then a sealed 18?

Dependant on power and the sub itself, but I would say the 15 has more potential for more output.

the 18" AA avalanche is the sub im replacing with a 15 ported, im thinking a brahma...Oo and it would be receiving ~1400 watts, 1 ohm

I would still say the 15 would have more output, depending on your tuning.

tuning would round 28ish...something pretty low...
