A Good Competition Sub?

There are so many brands out there im not sure what to choose? I know Jl, kicker are good but what are some other good subs? DB drive platinum? I am just confused because then you have your brands that just lie about there ratings. Oh yeah not to mention I do not have much room, I own a 07 vette. Right now I have 2 12" cvr in a ported box with a spa1900d Db drive amp. It pushes them well, actually i can smell voice coils so i know they will blow soon.
