Some of these drivers are semi-pending as certain individuals have already expressed an interest in them as early as a few months ago. Those individuals will have dibs until they inform me otherwise, or until I feel enough time has passed without any contact or serious commitment from them. I just wanted to give the items exposure in case they have a change of plans.

I do not intend to field the usual questions concerning how much thermal or mechanical abuse this gear can sustain before failure, so please don't bother with questions like; "how much will it take daily?", or "what size enclosure and how much vent area should I use?". This is a FOR SALE thread, not a seminar. If you don't know how to use the gear or you're not willing to do the footwork to educate yourself, you probably shouldn't be buying it. My apologies for the condescending tone, I know a good number of you know what you're doing and don't need a lecture. This is aimed those who are too lazy to perform even the simplest of searches for acquiring the knowledge necessary to accomplish their goals and usually eat up a portion of my time without so much as a thank you, let alone a purchase. Anyhow, enough with the rant. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

10" TC Sounds TC2 - D4 -- $125 plus shipping -- Silver 12 spoke frame, silver aluminum cone w/ rubber half roll surround. Aluminum coil, RW. 400 sustained, 1000 dynamic.

Specs - Hard to find any for the 10", this is a link to the 8" to give you an idea. (Archived, loads very slowly.)

http://web.archive.org/web/20050309184959/www.tcsounds.com/TC2_8_2574.htm -- Performance is essentially the same as the TC2+/TC1000.

Pending10" TC Sounds LMS 4000 top assembly - S3 -- $100 plus shipping -- Red Ti frame, silver aluminum cone w/rubber half roll surround. Aluminum coil, RW. 800 sustained, 2400 dynamic.

This will work with a TC9 with 1" slugs or 3HP+ with the short top plate. Condition is flawless but I received it with a discontinuity on one of the leads. This was a simply a poor connection and not the result of over-excursion. I took an iron to the lead and restored continuity but I don't have any solder for working with aluminum coils so I wasn't able to add any. I've tested the functionality and it's 100% mechanically sound but I DO NOT suggest putting it into service until the lead is serviced with a bit of solder. Otherwise, you will be looking at another failure.

For the driver to spec out as an LMS 4000, you will need to mate it with a 3HP+ using the short top plate. I do not recommend using the tall top plate version as the excursion behavior is different, the specs will be different, and the coil is sitting at a different height relative to the frame than would be necessary for the tall top plate version. This equates to an offset between the center of the coil and the center of the magnetic flux. There is no female half of the QCA ring so you will need to use fasteners.

Specs (LMS 4000) - I can also give specs for use with a TC9.

8" TC Sounds/Sunfire motor/coil/basket - S4 -- $100 plus shipping -- Black 4 spoke frame, large 2" motor with perfectly matching salvaged coil. Beast copper coil, VERY robust with a WW of 1.8" and 6 layers, maybe 8. Weighs more than some of my 3" copper coils. This is the driver from the Sunfire SuperJunior. Multiple resources cite the driver as having a thermal rating of 1500 and I gave it a kilowatt without any issues. The only reason the driver isn't still operational is because of a mistake I made while I had my hand near the knobs on my signal generator. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif The soft parts were damaged but the coil was not harmed in any way. This would be a great platform for building a high power 8".

5.5" Vifa MG13WM01 fiberglass midbass/midrange pair - 4ohm -- $75 plus shipping -- Black 4 spoke cast frame, black woven fiberglass cone w/rubber surround. No longer in production, specs are very hard to find but I will try once more and post them if I find them. They have a detailed but mellow sound and should be very simple to crossover. No harsh break-ups resulting in a strident character. At least, not that my golden ears can detect. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thanks. I just decide last minute to do it. Mainly just getting down to one of each or letting go of most of the output-oriented drivers altogether.

nice collection.
glws, bro!
Thanks!

Who got it?

I had a feeling it was you:laugh:

I won't post anymore to keep the clutter out.

Duh.

It just occurred to me that I didn't indicate which drivers have a pending interest. Sorry.

15" Eclipse Titanium

15" 3HP

12" TC1000 - I've been given the nod to sell this if someone wants it.

That doesn't mean that they are sold, it just means that those who expressed interest will have dibs. If you also have an interest, just shoot me a PM or post. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Howdy Shane. Your RL-s is waiting for you:D

Thanks! Very tempting indeed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I sent a gentlemen your way regarding the MASS drivers. Did you hear from him?
