The ipod is giving an entirely different signal as compared to the HU.I have a DMM, but that was the problem, I never could figure out the life of me how to work it (even checked in on here on instructions) so I ended up trying to set it by ears and had a neighbor/friend set it with me by ear too. Guess that didnt work too well.
Also question, does adding an iPod Shuffle to my head unit change anything head-unit wise/volts wise? Bc I definitely notice a huge increase in volume when I leave it on my usual 30-35 on the head unit and the iPod on max (theres no volume indicator) which is why when I play it on max, it probably added more exessive gain/voltage? So now I cant figure out where to set my volume on my head unit at with my iPod playing at max. Hmm.
volume of the ipod shouldnt impact how loud it is comming through your hu if thats what your asking?I have a DMM, but that was the problem, I never could figure out the life of me how to work it (even checked in on here on instructions) so I ended up trying to set it by ears and had a neighbor/friend set it with me by ear too. Not really any assholes here.most likely not. people on here are assholes. they think theyre gods gift becase they know more about car audio than other people.
Wouldnt you want those arrogant assholes who know more than everyone elseto be the ones giving advise instead of some random kid who says his Hifonics 1606d does 'x' amount of power without having done some sort of benchtest?most likely not. people on here are assholes. they think theyre gods gift becase they know more about car audio than other people.
yea. but people dont have to be dickheads because someone answered something wrong. if they can respectfully help someone, why cant they be respectfull and tell someone they were wrong instead of calling them retards, etc. and why dont u show me proof that the 1606d does 1600 @ 1ohm.Wouldnt you want those arrogant assholes who know more than everyone elseto be the ones giving advise instead of some random kid who says his Hifonics 1606d does 'x' amount of power without having done some sort of benchtest?
I'd take the assholes anyday, cause when it boils down to it...they're right, and your wrong.

The ipod is giving an entirely different signal as compared to the HU.
Therefore, it could have easily caused the amplifier to send out a clipped signal... especially if it was maxed out.

I dont need to, your the one that said it doesnt do 1600, so YOU prove ME wrong since it was YOUR conjecture since the beginning of this thread. And I'd put money you wouldnt be able to tell the difference b/w the 300-400watts...yea. but people dont have to be dickheads because someone answered something wrong. if they can respectfully help someone, why cant they be respectfull and tell someone they were wrong instead of calling them retards, etc. and why dont u show me proof that the 1606d does 1600 @ 1ohm.
