A few amp questions...

1) If an amp is 300w x2 bridged does that mean that it will power two 300w RMS subs?

2) Are 300w subs pretty loud for a non-competition car?

3) Will an amp that is 280w x2 bridged power two 300w subs or will it have sum sort of distortion or something?

How do OHM loads match up? All I know about Ohms is that they are resistance in electricity, lol. Does that mean if there are 2 subs with 4 Ohm loads each that the Amp has to support 8 ohms or 4? or what? I guess I don't really understand. What do you look for in the Amp to tell you how many ohms it supports?

an amp should list its output power at each ohm load, get an amp that delivers the power you need at the ohm load you have, if you have 2 - 4 ohm subs get an amp that will give you the power you need at 2 ohm (wire subs in parallel)

yes!, when you wire a dual voice coil sub in parallel the resistance of 1 voice coil get divided by 2. so if you have a sub with dual 4ohms voice coils, when wired in parallel the total resistance will be 2ohms, if wired in series it will be 8ohms.
