A day of testing.

Built a box today. Just threw together for a comp tomorrow. Got a few pics from the testing I did this after noon.

Car: 2000 Honda Accord 2dr. EX, with the gay sunroof. Stock Alt/Battery. 4/0 welding wire.

Sub: Fi Car Audio 15 BL d2 fully loaded.

Amp(s) Sony 1000watt MAX., Kicker ZX750.1, Sundown SAZ1500D.

Sealed in the Dash.

~3ish cubes. tuned to ~50ish hz.

I actually tried to headrest, same/close to as dash actually. with the Kicker amp, didn't try the Sundown. More testing tomorrow before the show tho. Will take pics then.

Toned played at 50hz.

u try opposite door open for the headrest? yea i need to make an all out spl box for the headrest and see what i can get outta ma cvr's u think external aeroports make a big diff? i have 8in. pvc u think i should use that over smaller 6 or 4in ports? good luck at the comp is it db drag?

No its Competition only. Its metered at the dash, sealed.

We'll see.

But, I don't know about the gains, I did it to save room + easy access to the ports to trim/cut.

Oh yeah.

I didn't messure the gain, but I started with a 140 with the Sony amp, and gained 2.5 with moving around stuff in the car/adding ducttape.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

It depends on the music being played. With the peak hold on I can play air forces and have it look the same except at 41hz.

Where are you competing at? Im located in the Sumpter/Shaw area, I was thinkin of gettin involved in the local area competitions... But I would need to swap out my T-line with a nice fartbox or just a nice 40hz ported box
