A couple of blow through questions....

After debating to either wall my ranger or do a blow through I've decided to go with a blow through design. But I have one major question...

I know that your not supposed to make the box go all the way through into the cab because there is stress between the cab and the bed when you turn...but if I gave it a few inches of padding all the way around do you think I could do it?

I want to do this so I can make the port long enough....

I made my cut out 1.5'' larger than my port. This allows for the twist between the bed and cab to not come in contact with the enclosure. I have high density foam between the cutout and enclosure also.

box my frame? You mean frame my box? Like with a metal casing?
no lol, what I meant was my 95 S15 I had 2 pumps and 8 batteries in the bed (hydraulics) I took the cab off and bed and boxed the frame, from the factory it is a C shape, I X'd it and cut off the shitty stock sheetmetal like crossmembers and replaced with 3x2 box tubing. I could jack it up BEHIND the back wheel and the frame was so stiff the whole side would come off the ground. But I dont see you doing all that for just cutting a hole in the bed for a blow thru
