wondering if there is any easier way to cut out supports like this

other than ussing a skill saw.

or are these just usless and i should just get some dowls..

jigsaw is the easiest way.. you really think its that hard?

dowels are easy too.. i use 1 5/8 closet pole

window bracing is VERY strong. Why cut it out?

oh.. i think i may have misunderstood.. are you trying to cut the brace out of a box it is already in? or make one for a box and install it?

use a jigsaw and roundover bit and you're good to go...

This will answer a thread I was about to start, but why would you do a brace like this as oppose to just building separate chambers? I need to do something to my box because its just not strong enough for my 2 Mags, and I don't know if I should do 2 separate chambers or bracing throughout the box.

this is a form of bracing, not seperating the chambers.. it is just an alternative to using dowels, allthread, etc. if youre unsure about the structural integrity of your box, add bracing and/or other reinforcements.
