A Box For Two 15" Subwoofers...

Hey everyone, below is my system that I currently have setup. I am looking to up that with two 15"s in place of the two 12"s. I was talking to an audio adviser on crutchfield and they recommended two of the "Rockford Fosgate P2D215 subwoofers" (link below). Only thing is, I am going to have to get a new box for these. I am not interested in making a box as I am not experienced enough to do so. I just prefer to buy a box that matches the required ported box volume of 2.66 cubic feet. My amp is suppose to handle two of these so says the Crutchfield person. Thanks again guys, I basically need a box that can fit two of these 15"s. Also, will these be a worthy upgrade from these 12"s? I want to be able to play some good, loud music on these while being able to put out some low notes. Thanks!

How about this box? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7510_S...Box-+2SV15.html

This box is cheaper, and has a better fit for the cubic feet: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DUAL-15-SUB...rsQ5fEnclosures

I've got a box sitting in my garage that is 5.5~ cubes ported to 32 hz.

I think its 43W x 18H x 20D cant remember though. Should work well with your subs. I can sell it to you, but you'd have to pay for shipping.

Ah alright, so it's a dual 15" box with those dimensions? Sounds pretty good, the only thing that worries me is the cubic feet of it, is that still ok because my subs say 2.66. I'm guessing that's per sub, and you combined it to be 5.5?

The amp you have and the P2 15's should work well together.

DO NOT get either of those boxes you listed, theres no telling of their quality and tuning.

Have a member that knows what they're doing build you one.

One last thing, buy the subs from ebay, not cf.

Ahh ok, thanks for the input man. Yeah, I am going to grab those subs from ebay but I just decided to show them on Crutchfield so the specs were easier to look at. I'm chatting with some members about making a box. I'm just not sure if my system is going to be louder with bigger subs, but with the same power. Will it?
