My question is: how does a 9mm (+p) stack up against a 45 energy being equal?
The 9mm+P winchester PDX1 is 396 ft/lb while the 45 acp hydra shok is 414 ft/lb which I consider comparable.
So is the increased capacity in 9mm worth the neglible difference in energy (and significant less bullet mass) compared to the 45?
I know the 45 vs 9mm debate will never end, but I'm talking about comparing a 9mm+P that has a similiar kinetic energy to most 45 acp rounds.
