99 Jeep Stock H/U question

I just got a 99 Jeep Cherokee Laredo

I really wasn't wanting to replace the H/U with an after market one but i'm definitely wanting to run my system in it.....

What are my options?

If it means anything it has the Infinity mids and highs package and the controls on the steering wheel.....

With that stock Infinity amp, your best off running new wiring into all the doors. I ran new wiring in my 97 ZJ with the Infinity system. I didn't run anything into the rear doors, but I did run new wiring into the front doors and into the dash as well for the tweeters. I changed out my HU for an Alpine 9855 and set it up with a PAC steering wheel adapter to keep my factory steering wheel controls, well sort of. I switched what some of the buttons do for better volume and muting options. My buttons are on the rear of the steering wheel and are not labeled so reprogramming them to do something else wasn't too big of a deal. I'd say your better off putting an aftermarket HU in there for optimal tuning options. That's my 2 cents.

I kept the Infinity amp, but it's not connected to anything, nor does it power up. Basically by keeping it, I mean it's still in my Jeep. I have a Kicker ZX200.2 running my front stage in there and nothing in the rear. Check out my build log in my sig. The first few pages deal with my car and then I've got stuff for my Jeep. Then, it goes back to my car, I think. The Jeep is completely done, my car is constantly changing.

Alright man thanks for the help!

Bet those CVX's are loud, had 2 of em' for a PA 3000db in 4.5 cubes @ 35hz......Loudest setup so far, haven't used my R's yet though and plus CVX's had more power....

Yeah, those CVXs get loud. I'm thinking about swapping them out for something else though. I don't know if I'm going to go to a single 15" or maybe another 2 12" setup. I might just keep them too. I'm not too sure yet. Everything with my car is geared toward SQ except for the subs. They have decent SQ at lower volumes, but even with the low tuning, they still are kind of "peaky" at certain frequencies. The Type X 10" I have in the Jeep is a pretty serious sub too, for a 10".

Unless you have a luxury vehicle, I always recommend bypassing all OEM crap with aftermarket. I have an '08 Silverado with the Bose system installed and bypassed EVERYTHING...much better now.
