$99 HD DVD players!

I got mine hooked as well and broke it in with Transformers too. I'm running mine on a 32" Sharp Aquos LCD running in 1080 and it looked **** good imo. So much better than a regular copy of the movie. For $99 I think it was a pretty good deal.

Sounds like a lot of people are breaking it in with transformers. I need to get it. I rented V for Vendetta, and I bought Face Off, Lucky # Slevin, my friend has my blood diamond and last samurai. I've only put in V for Vendetta so far though.

Finally had time to get mine hooked up and load the latest firmware. Mine is hooked to an Optoma H31 PJ, which is 480 native, but will accept up to a 1080i image. Transformers is the only HD movie I own so far and it, looks AMAZING on a 92" screen. I can only imagine what an HD projector would look like, but I'm more than happy.

Popped in a few SD movies and they look just as good as before. I read a lot of reviews and people complained about the load/shut down times, but mine seems very fast. Maybe they fixed it with the latest firmware upgrade.

You should see high def at 1080p 24fps on a 96" screen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:cool:

LAWL...
I wonder what kind of QC corners they cut to get it out for that price... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Oh Wal-Mart, I don't understand why anyone would buy electronics from there...

Maybe parts aren't really that expensive. Even if it's a hundred dollars you can get the little 10 dollar extended service and you're in the game. They did this to compete with blu ray.

I didn't get the A2, they were sold out. So I got one of those Acer laptops and purchased the 2 year extended warranty. The warranty card states that the minimum amount for the warranty is $28.
that's about what i paid for my ps3's warranty. it would have been 50 at frys or someplace like that.
