'99 GM Truck Double Din install

Hey all,

I have a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 4X4 that I would like to convert to double din. I really like Pioneer and have been looking at their models. Anybody have recommendations on fabrication or which unit to install? I would prefer a factory look at minimum cost (naturally). I have seen some butchered conversions online. Looking for input on options. Thanks so much in advance!

They sell precut double din dash frames.
Other then that just get a double din kit for the dash, really no other way to do it unless you custom fabricate your dash with fiberglass and custom brackets to hold the radio on the dash.

i was about to say the same thing. I could have sworn that there are dash kits for this
