Another Michigander.Alright. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I want to hear this when you get done.
Dont even know where Taylor is haha but yea man hopefully everything will be installed the day after christmas.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif So I will keep you in mind.

Well started on the box, still needs a lot of work tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif It will be 15 cf3 after all displacements, with a 160in. port area tuned to around 34. Here is just a couple pics. It will be braced also, just haven't got to it yet.

I had 2 18"s in a 99 explorer without a wall and it was ridiculous. You can definitly fit it with great results. Mine was 14 cubes net. Now I'm walling 4 18"s

nice bro! are you gonna keep the back seats?

anyways. that single psg won't keep up trust me. do some door pods or at least add some tweets on the a-pillars. i have 3 sets per door + tweets on the a-pillars and it keeps up alright to my btl's.

and don't forget to add major bracing on that box btw.

its always nice to see another fellow explorer owner on the forums.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you might also want to look at getting an MLA module. its a good investment, specially if you are planning to use the stock alt.

Idk about you guys but with my CDT comp set up front on 100 each and by Kenwood 5x7's in the rear on 80 each I can hear the highs just fine. even with 4000rms on 2 18"s.

Thanks for the replies guys, yea I'm going to throw the psg's in there and then go from there. I'm keeping the rear seats and basically doing like what you did kentb. I will be adding some bracing in there like i said. This is my first box and so far I think its going alright. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif What does an MLA module consist of/price/where to get one?

Looking good.....port area might be a little small but hopefully you won't hear any port noise. Good job for your first box so far!

Any one know how much those mla modules cost and, where to get them and how hard to install? KHARPS thanks man yea I know I was kind of worried about port noise, but I tried to round all the edges of the port on both the inside and out, will prolly sand them down even more, so hopefully that helps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
