9800BT Vs 880PRS

WTF? I guess despite all it's great features, the 880 doesnt have a ATT button to cut the volume in half with a single press. Takes me 4 agonizing turns to turn down the volume from 50.

Its on the remote, along with the pause control.

I think you can actually choose how much to attentuate the volume by, also.

When I do the auto time align with the mic for the front passenger seat, it pulls all the sound from my drivers side and shifts it over. When I have it set for front driver and passenger, it seems to sound much better. What happens when you do the auto TA with the Drivers seat set, then after your done, switch it to both front seats? Do you have to repeat the Auto TA, or does the deck auto compensate? Another thing. If you are doing the Auto TA for both front seats, where would you put the mic? Hang it from the ceiling between the 2 front seats? How come I don't have the option to set my Front stage Xovers to 18db? The highest option its allowing me is 12db. And why does the deck say my right speaker is 85 inches and my subs are 160 for TA? No way in hell. I'm thinkin of gettin a tape measure and measuring the distances myself.

I have the 9800, and the one rotary commander works fine (except, pausing is a *****). I really think that pioneer should have put two more buttons on the face. One for pause, one for mute (I know, the remote has att, but still), maybe in between the buttons around the rotary commander, or above and below the three buttons to the left of it, or even on the right side of the rotary commander.
Actually there is a pause button on the faceplate and remote. On the faceplate, you press the upper left button around the rotary commander, tel. On the remote, you press 'pgm'.

well. those can operate like pause, but... technically they are not pause, though, i didn't think of that. and my remote doesn't have a "pgm" button...
