98 integra tweeter problem

k i jsut got new clarion speakers with the tweeter already in the speaker, and now i got the factory speaker out and i hooked it up but the factory tweeter is still running, and u cant really take it out or else it would look funny, but how do u make it so u can unhook that tweeter that buzzes and so it would jsut through the one speaker rahter than split it? if that makes sense any help would be very good

um. cut the wire going to the tweet.

but is there a crossover type tihng anywhere built in sendinf low sounds to the speaker and high sounds to the tweeter tho?

if you cut it right before it goes in to the tweeter. it wont mess with anything. the tweet would not play thats all.

and iirc you probably dont even need to cut the wire, there should be a plug on the tweet wire you can unplug.

the wire doesnt need to be cut, its on a female to male adapter that is grey. I know because i own a Teg 00. There is no crossover on the wires that i remember messing with. Youll be safe.

I have the same ****in issue... Im just gonna run my mids off different wire. OR I could replace the tweets [means taking all the console:uhoh:]

k thanks i will try that, i let ya know. its jsut that stupid buzz from the tweeter
