98 ford explorer questions

i have a 98 ford explorer,i have 1 mt18,my question is ive tried several different boxes and subs in it,i cant seem to get above 41 hz,it seems like no matter how i tune a box it still resonates at about 41 hertz,im going into street c this year and i need to be able to burp around the mid 50's,do yall think a box with 6'' aero ports or a slot port,any help is appreciated.

Sounds like the Explorer resonates at 41 hz. I have no idea how to fix this, since deadening usually drops a vehicles peak.
