98 BMW M3 Question

I have a 98 BMW m3 with the factory HK soundsystem. I was wondering if bought a new head unit would i have to re-wire the whole car. I have head that bose systems have this problem. OR will my head unit and the existing speaker wires work together. Thanks.....

As long as the head old and new head unit have the same options I.E. number of RCA'S (if you have an amp) and they have the quick install kit for you type of car you should have no problem.

i believe ur car has optical inputs in teh back. n most likely u will have to rewire the whole car.

lots of benz, bmws, n other high end use optical connections.

Look at Recoil components front and coaxials rear. Cheap solution. The Taramps is fine, or Recoil, or blackbrick 100.4 for $69 shipped. More power too. I'm sure your head unit has a built in 4...

U have to ignore that idiot !...thats the next thing i would do is check wires.i would run new beings how the wiring is old.

I have a pair of IS BMW 100L on order. The next upgrade will be the center and/or the amplifier. The Focal center is much cheaper, however many people have disconnected instead of replacing it...
