So i figured i would give a update. I ended up not getting the Neon due to it having some extra issues with it. But i am still aiming to get a car, just a different one lol. i messing with the box calc right now making up some plans, i may go alittle bigger, 3.5 cubes net after por, sub, etc. But again it seems like 5 cubes would be big for a sub that only calls for 3.142 cubes. @Boomsday;
I have been messing around with the box and calc(12volt.com). I think im going to go with the 3.5 cubes net after subs & port(of course this could possibly change lol). I was calculating port and came up with something that is roughly equal to a 7" aeroport(if my math is correct).
I was thinking i could do 2 5" flared aeroports(actual aeroports) because i can get them cheaper then the cost of a new 6" aero or making a homemade aero.
But this is what i came up:
1 7" aeroport is equal to 38.47(38.465) sq inches of port
2 5" aeroports are equal to 39.25 sq inches of port
With my math they roughly equal the same. Did i figure this right^
did i calculate the ports correctly, im trying to see if this is correct because i can get 2 5" actual aeroports for cheaper then making 1 myself or the price of a new 6".
So i calc'd the sq inches of a 7" port, then found that 2 5" ports would be roughly the same. is this correct
