i think i can squeeze it in thru the boot for the door wires, behind the kick. those door trim pieces are a biznich

ohhh good god!!! please dont tell me you are gunna run the power up over the firewall and in threw the door wire boot!!!!!

if so.. ur better off takeing it to best buy.....

no no, i was looking at it yesterday an the battery is on the pass. side, and there's a lot of shit in the way at the firewall there. so instead of taking it to the drivers side, i thought i could use this existing hole. it's easily accessable from the engine bay.

this may not be the best way, as it was dusk when i was doing this...

What all were you planning to install in there? Just curious...

a pair of 10" kenwoods, a power acoustik 4ch (bridged for the subs. the one i had in my trunk...) an alpine HU and thats about it.

very budget install of stuff i had laying around

yes i am pretty lazy. but i dont see anywhere to drill through and i didnt see an existing grommet anywhere.

i may just route it around to the drivers side, and drill a hole there. my car has the battery on the drivers side, and i just drilled a hole to get the wire in.

no seggestion.. i would just come out and say it... you have yet to do anything retarded other then thinking about doing something retarded...

grab a light. like a flash light... serch for a gromet in the fire wall... run a coat hanger threw it and pull ur wire threw....

Sadly enough when I did my very first system I did it this way.I was driving down the road and sparks and flames started shooting from the top of the door jam!pulled my shit over popped the passenager door to see sparks coming from bare wire that got pinched in the door.
