94 Honda Civic(sedan,manual *****) vs 99 Chevy Malibu?

Yea ive been leaning toward the civic...but heres my take on the cars...

HONDA

Pros: GAS MILEAGE!,Stick shift(fun to drive),tons of aftermarket support,GAS MILEAGE!!

Cons: Top most stolen vehicle,stick shift(B**** in traffic). Heard they fold on impact.

CHEVY

Pros:Everything

Cons: GAS MILEAGE!

Malibu.

Can't stand Civics anymore.

I understand they're reliable but shit, there has to be atleast 10+ in my school parking lot at any given time. I just don't enjoy driving something that everyone else has.

Not saying that the Malibu is an uncommon car, just that there seems to be a lot less around up here.
