94 ford explorer first fiber glass project

ooooh nice amps, Art Series from back in the day. Those things are supposed to be **** good.
Thanks man , They are clllleeeennnnn sounding amps. I ran them back in the day as well . You could say that I am a ppi fan for life;) .

Ported fiberglass box? you'r an animal. I think that I would try 4 cubes net at first you can alloways go smaller;) .
Im running a ported fiberglass box now with my memphis subs. loud as hell too.

I was shown a product guide for the MKII where they recommend 3cubes tuned to 28hz for Sq and 4 cubes tuned to 35Hz for SPL so I think I will split it and do 3.5 tuned to 32hz should be a pretty good SQL box I think

I agree That's what I would do as well. Have you tried this sub seald? I am considering sealing mine .

so u put spandex and fiberglass matt do you have to do both? Or can you just use fleece cotton etc...
I used spandex because, the old lady had an old spandex shirt in the donation box. But you could use fleece or grill cloth or anything that is cloth and strechy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

fleece/cotton are fine, they're just not as stretchy.
Nice all around. Very nice amps too.
Thanks man , I am glad that I can finally drive it . With sound deadening, paint , body work, engine work, metal fab , wireing . It was a long time before light was seen at the end of the tunnel.Leo

The only problem I have with this center counsol so far is that there is no where to set a beer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Probably a good thing:D .

Maybe some daytime pics of the console tho. Whats below the eq? The stock compartment? Under it?
Yes sir it is the stock compartment. Thanks for the props.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I havent cause I dont have the sub yet. Im buying ghostfaces from him and he has it sealed. he says you feel the bass in your chest but its not as loud as his 2 12" SEs ported were.

But do you have to use the fiberglass matt too? like over the spandex, cloth, etc

Just a layer or two to add some strength. It doesn't need to be bullet proof. But you don't want it to crush if somebody accidentally kicks it or something while getting in the car. Fleece, spande, grill cloth, and the like are still pretty brittle without reinforcement. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
