Well I have a bunch of pics from when I modified my center counsol to house an eclipse pre amp. This counsol is complete now so here are the pics of how it came togather. This is for a 1994 ford explorer sport.

Here is a pic of my counsol stock.

Here I have a piece of quarter inch plywood that has the opening cut out for the pre amp.

In thes pic I cut the bottom off of the counsol and re atached it lower with pieces of wood . I did this so that the deph of the pre amp would sit inside this part of the counsol. Also I figured that this piece when finished would look like it belonged in the vehical.

here is a pic of the pre amp sitting inside of the counsol.

and one more pic of the bracing I did to this piece , so It would not collapse when I streached spandex over it. I used hot glue to anchor all of the wooden braces.

Ok ready for the spandex?

Now here are some pics of the messy part. Make sure you have plenty of letex gloves because this crap is sticky;) .

this is the seccond layer.

also I would have been better off if I had used the fiberglass matt instead if the heavy cloth I did use . The stuff I used is for building airplane wings. It came from Cirrus Design. Here it is after some sanding.

I will have some more pics up in a few minuets.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Thanks for looking .

Ok here is a pic after this thing has been trimmed up and filed down with the pre amp installed.

And here is another showing how this piece fits on top of the existing center counsol.

I will have the finished pic up in a few minuets:D It does get better.

That's nice my brother. You could have made it a lot easier on yourself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks man I have been working on this rig for about a year and a half . The install took longer than any other aspect of the build up. The pics of the amp rack do not do it justice.

getting a 15" MKII from a friend couldnt really find anything about size and tuning for a ported box for it. Site only talks about sealed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif was considering 3.5-4cubes tuned to the low 30s

box wil be fiberglass BTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
