93 grand prix ignition problem

the ignition switch died and its 100 dollars to replace can i just run a toggle switch?

i did that in my car. a switch is like 5-6$ at the hardware store, and a piece of wire is dirt cheap. its up to you. i would prefer a new ignition switch.

Relays. Don't try to run that amount of current through a switch. Use a switch to control the relay of course...

what do you need? the key cylinder, ot the switch that attaches to the top of the steering column?

if you need the actual switch, i have one you can have for the price of shipping
