I have a 900 watt amplifier (at 4 ohms bridged), could two type-R's (wired for 4 ohms) handle it without clipping?

Also, should I get 10" or 12"? My last systom was more SPL than SQ, and this time I'm looking for more SQ. I'm not sure if I'd port it yet, so this might be a dumb question.

Thanks in advance to any replies.

Well it is just that some website say 300w rms and some say 500 and so forth, I haven't done too much research on it so I thought I'd ask.

I was just browsing ike sound and saw how cheap they are.

BTW, are they good for SQ?

They arent bad on sq but not amazing. I have 2 of the 05 models and they get pretty loud and dont sound too bad. I have mine sealed and wouldnt have it any other way. If you port them they will get louder but might lose some sq. But you will have people chim in saying they sound just as clean as ported. I know better. I have a 1100 high current old school Lanzar amp on them. They are getting about 550rms on each one. They call for 500rms, but I have heard people doing 1300rms off of one sub just fine. So you will be ok. Good luck!
