You get it in yet, or still trying to find someone help load it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif![]()
It will go in tomorrow, need to get a buddy over here to give me a hand. It must weigh near 100lbs...
I actually got lazey today and just decided to chop off the port on this enclosure and add the aeros; so now it is 9 cubes @ 28Hz with five 4" aeros. If I get a chance to get her in tonight I will let you know how it goes.Interesting, so 25sq.in. of port per cuft is defiantly way too muchWhen you rebuild are you going to cut down on the cuft at all, or do you think there was no output just due to the massive amount of port area?
Can you list what the other enclosures are that you've built for this 18? include port area and cuft.
Thanks!
I have tried all different firing positions, and sub up with port back has always been the loudest.should cover the sub hole on top, put it on the same side as the sub, and face it back or maybe it would sound ok with both facing up too
Your right, I just added it up and I'd hafta do (4) 41" ports to get it tuned at 29hz.the aeros would have to be extremely long to use 4 6" in 8 cubes, even 9 cubes they would have to be over 25" each
