im just lookin for 1 8"... sumthin to carry a little midbass freq. i have a 5th channel on my alpine thats not bein used and i wanna use it. it pushes about 150 watts... sumthin like 180 peak. any suggestions? i wuz thinkin maybe a 3v2 or compVR....

the RE 8 will do pretty nicely with that power... port it, and you should be up near 130's... not too shabby for an 8 with 150 watts..

Resonant Engineering makes it, respl.com, but their site is down right now. and apparently they're normally $49/each but they're thinking about a sale, so they'd be $33/each.

i would say that the RE 8s are definitely the way to go...it doesnt get much better for 33 bucks!
