8ohm amp???

If an amp it 250 rms X 1 at 4 ohm bridged , then could it produce 125 rms X 1 at 8 ohm?

Yep. 125 RMS X 1 @ 8 ohm double the resistance divide the power.

no interest in the sony and the 4 channel? i can let them go for $60 + shipping for both.... dont need them and wifey getting pissed that i have them EEECK!!!!

some amps dont double, and some amp more than double between indepences

thats what i mean, it would sound logical. but look at the jl's and some others. they put out their rated power anywhere between 1-4ohms. it all depends on the amp. but more than likely, ya somewhere around there.
