89' Nissan Sentra build log (DC Sounds)

I had 2 89 sentra's. Was the first car i fixed by myself. Had a bad piston so i had to take out the engine and tear it down and rebuild it back. That was back when i was 14.

I also started a custom box going around the lining of the trunk to fit 6 10"s but i quit on it about 3/4 through and sold the cars

i added polyfil to the box

well i went to do a fit test and the box diddnt fit through the opening of the trunk, so we tried to fit it through the back seat. well that diddnt work so we had to cut about 2 inches out of the frame.

How much port area? Seem kinda small in the pics.

Good job on cutting out the rear metal. Be ready for the haters to tell you your car will twist in 1/2 LOL

I remember when I had to fit my batteries in my trunk on my last build. I had to basically do the same thing you are doing now except I had to cut the brakets for the seatbelt out then reweld them back in. The thing that sucks though is we were in a rsuh cuz we had a 4x weekend and we started 4 hours before the first show and didn't cover the rear glass and the weld splattered. So now I have some little pinhole bubbles on the glass.

x2 on the port area, looks real small. whats the box tuned to and how big is it

port has a 2in opening, tuned to 30hz. 4.5 cubic liters with polyfil, so we can say about 5 cubic liters.

the sub costs 310 on a group buy.
