880 & Ipod noise

Ive been searching in here for some time now and really havent found an answer to my problem. Well for some strange reason when I use my Ipod on my 880 I hear what i can only describe as background noise (not sure if white noise is appropriate in this case) when I pause the song. I would say its a very audible noise around 25-30 on the head unit and its pissing me off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

Now on the other hand, when I play a cd in the unit, crank it up to that same volume range and pause it, I dont hear the noise! I assume the noise is Ipod related, I have to eq shut off and the mp3 quality is CD quality (or as close as you can get with mp3's). The Ipod is connected through the pioneer box not the Aux port. Any help is greatly appreciated!

did you check the ground on the ipod adapter?

yeah make sure the Ipod adaptor has a solid ground.

Well stupid me, SLA was up to +4 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif , Thx for the response guys and I will still check the ground as I can still hear it slightly with SLA turned down.
