800w amp suggestions?

I'm looking for a 800 watt amp to push two SS RL-i 10s. I originally wanted to go with a 1000w amplifier, but I didn't want to put too much strain on my car's electrical system.

Brutus bx1000d (1000 watts) shouldn't put too much strain on your system. They're like 200 on ebay wholesale. For 800, i dunno, I usually don't check stuff out under 1200 watts.

Although I do know audiobahn makes an 800 watt amp that's supposed to be good...

Hehe, I'm just kidding. I don't really like my amp very much (don't just buy what your friends have)...

i'm JUST about to get 2 rl-i 10"s for my self. I'm running the A8002T from audiobahn. I've never had a problem with it, and would recommend it for a good bang for your buck. I picked mine up for 135 with a 1 year warranty off ebay.

avionixx 800.2 form ebay the audiobahn isnt a bad choice i had one for like 14months or so, only over heated cuz it was under my seat, but then i moved it

ok, i would run with the mb quart raa 2400 400x2@2ohm, or the quart raa 1000 1000x1@1ohm. can't say it enough, but crutchfield is selling them for $250 and $300 respectively.

in all seriousness though, if you are looking for a class d amp to lessen strain on your chg system the audiobahns do run strong. my 8001dt hammered 3jlw3 subs w/800x1@1ohm. never got hot or even warm, and i had the amp mounted on the back of the rear seat behind the box. still have it if interested. but if i didn't already own my ss amps, i would certainly snatch up those quarts.

my audiobahn runs fine, never gets warm or anything, but depending on where the amp is going to be, it has lights/is made of chrome/and the fans are loud enough to be heard while listening to jazz/blues. The lights and chrome **** b/c they scream STEAL ME and if i didn't have a decent alarm, trust me, it would have been by now. The bahn will give you power, but I just don't like the sound quality that much. The quarts should do a better job of sq.

Rockford 800.2 is a great amp for what you need...What do ya know, i happen to have one that Im willing to sell haha, hit me up if your interested, but honestly, whether you get it from me or not, it is a great amp, look into it.
