I have been into car audio for 17 years and have used other brands of deadener and never had a problem. It's a simple process...clean the surface with alcohol or lacquer thinner, make sure surface is dry, apply the deadener, roll air bubbles out and I like to take a heat gun just to make sure it adheres really well.
