Its for a Nissan Titan Crew Cab...

Where should I face the subwoofer, front, up or down...??? I want the maximum SQL

But the general sweet spot is in the center of the cab mounted low facing fowards

The re8 is best for the price all though we may never know how it ranks with the other 8's since it was never put in the proper reccomended enclosure specs in the great 8 challenge.

pssshhh. the AA is the same price as the RE. I love the guys at RE but am not about to talk outta my arse that their RE 8" is so special. You want to know what I thought of them? I traded my pair for 7 0awg ring terminals //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . My TC 2+ 8"s weren't really in the same league. The RE's were well below peak output with music on my eD 9kv2's, my DD 8" has higher peak from my testing than my eD, but doesn't get as low. the RE got lower than both. The TC destroyed them all in output and low bass extension. Mine were prototypes made to excell in ported boxes on low bass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif not to run sealed so it was an application specific sub. two of them ported off my bd1000, never heard any 8"s like them again. Rl-i's would be close maybe the w7's but I smoked a guy with a civic and 2 10w7's in a ported JL HO box with the subs in a V shape through the oval hole mounted to the red fleece looking V... not on a meter just played music parking lot style. but I annihalated him in a comp anyway when we were running different setups killd him by like 20dbs or something retarded...

lets hear how those 8"s are comming and vids vids vids. I've used the RE8 and the Sound splinter RL-i8.

If price were not a concern then I would select in this order.

JL 8w7, SS RL-i8, Crystal CMP8, ID 8, Kicker L78, Fosgate P3 8, RE8.
