i have the 8w7. if you want tight clean bass!!!! i recomend it!!! but it depends on what your looking for. 8w7 get loud as well.

the w7 8 is a very hard driver to beat in the output department..

its only halfway to xsus when other drivers are tapdancing backplate.. and overshoot can make for some hefty wang...

I honestly didn't expect the w7 to be the loudest driver in the challenge... but it wasn't a contest sealed, and was only slightly closer ported...

if you're looking for wang, its dub sebbin or go home in the 8" department..

How woul an Assassin 8" compare in SPL to the RE8" and the W7?

i called ascendant audio and got them for 50 a piece he said they will be having a sale on them pretty soon so he gave me the discounted price. I have 2 of them coming in on friday. If i like them im going to order a few more.

Please let us know how they perform. I checked them out lastnight and they looked pretty nice. Although I wanted to try the rl-i8 but 165 bux is a tad too much for me. BTW, a lil off topic, but why did my post count go way down????

yeah he said they are going to have a sale on the Assassin 8 so he gave them to me for that price, but yeah i really would like a Rl-i but the price difference is alot.
