is it possible to run 4 pairs of 4ohm tweeters off of a 2ch amp that is 2ohm stable, and has 200w? tweets are 30-50rms. even with gain not too high, what kind ofload will this put on the amp?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Yes it is.. seperate your tweets into pairs of two.. then take each pair and wire them pos to pos and neg to neg.. they are now wired in parallel.. now divide them again 4 to the left and 4 to the right... run a single wire(speaker wire) from the neg of one pair to the pos of the other you will now have two leads with only two wires on them those go to the amp..It comes out to a 4 ohm load in stereo..thats the best I can do with that many tweets without suggesting an amp that is 1 ohm stable.

Getting a good voltage reading does not mean good power transfer. You could read 13.8v out of a 24 AWG wire. Recheck your amplifier's ground and...
