8'' subs

and what space and tuning would be best for the tc epic?
You'll want to keep it small and tune as low as possible to prevent a huge dB peak at tuning.

Download WinISD and play with some designs, its pretty easy. There is really no ideal design for this driver, but its low Qts wants a bass reflex box, horn or TL.

Here is the full list of spec's you can model with

TL would be fun. What kind of tuning would you suggest with a woofer that has such a low qts and relatively low fs?

LEAP shows 27Hz 1/4 cubic feet for extended bass response - obviously not really possible.

Here is a design with 2 Epic 8's and a single 12" VMP. you can tune anywhere from 36hz down to 16Hz (any anywhere in-between)

this box is 15" x 15" x 16" a bit on a the large side, but you get a lot of flexibility with the vmp and of course no one will have a subwoofer quite like.

Thanks for that info, but I was speaking about a t-line.

If you're going to anything that deals with horn loading (including TL systems) you'll probably want to do some modeling because this gets very specialized.

This program is quite handy

Hornresp

but its a bit challenging to use if its your first time so make sure you read the guide before starting.
