8" subs: SQL, 500w?????

I am getting an 07 Toyota CrewMax and I will have room behind the rear sear for a downfire box, but itll be a small one. so, i might get rid of the eclipse 12s and get some 8s. i cant seem to find any good 8s that have good sq and some spl and can handle about 500w rms each. ive found L7s, but id rather have something with better SQ.

If you're on a tight budget, find some used Ascendant Audio Assassin 8's. They're nice little subs. Or if you're looking to spend a little more, look into the new Assassins. Also, I hear good things about Soundsplinters 8's.

RL-I8's hands down. Excellent SQ and can still get loud enough to surprise you.

As its been said, if you're on a budget, AA Assassins.

you might want to also look into the diamond d3 8's - i havent heard them nor seen any reviews on them, but if your on a budget and mounting depth becomes an issue they might be a good fit
