8" Speakers By the Back Seat?

Hey guys, I'm in the process of installing a system in my car (06 Scion tC). I'm putting a 3-way component set (6.5", 4", & 1") in the front. The 6.5's will go in the door & I plan on putting the 4" & tweeter in the kicks. I'm also putting a 12" sub in the hatch. My question is how would it be if I put a pair of 7 or 8" speakers in the stock locations on either side of the rear seat (they face inward)? I was thinking of using them as a mid-woofer to cover 75-150 hz. Would this ruin my soundstage or enhance it?

i'd just stick with front stage. you don't want to overpower your rear stage...i mean if you wanna add in a mid in each door just to have that rear fill it's fine but i wouldn't go all out.

There is a foam ring where the rear speaker meets the panel.. It will hit the speaker. they do have some 6 inch mids that might work, I think kicker makes them.. But really I always have mine faded out unless somebody is in the back.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll probably just not hook up any speakers in the rear. I rarely have anyone in the back seat and when I do it's only for a short time. I can always just turn up the volume if they want to hear the music:)
