8" in doors?

I have a Honda Accord

Working on a good system.

Right now I have MB Quart Q Series Components 6.5 in the door and 2" tweeters on the sail panels.

It sounds good but I want a better front stage.

I was thinking of getting some 8" Shallow Mount Woofers and doing some trimming on the door panel to make it fit. THen I would put the Components in some Kick Panel Enclosures.

I have a 4 channel amp that would power the front setup

HAs someone here done this yet? If so how did it work?

so are you looking for more mid bass or what? i'd start with deadening your doors before looking into modifying too much stuff

if your looking to put 8's in your door with your components, the best way to do it really is to fiberglass them into you panel... it's been done TONS of times on here.... just look at meades build log for the tahoe... first one that comes to mind

It is pretty sealed up.

i would suggest an 8 then... unless you want to spend 5-600 bucks for certain 6.5's, an 8 is perfect for mid bass... just make sure to have it eq'd right... set up for 100hz-450hz usually works really well
