8 inch sub for .46 cu

E-8 V.4 D4 - Sundown Audio 8" Dual 4-Ohm E-Series Subwoofer$110, RMS Watts: 300, Box Recommendation: 0.5 - .75 cubic feet (Ported).

That's what I found I know its not exactly what you want but its around your price range.
Thanks but that is ported... here is the box I'm going to use. Chose this because I have very limited trunk space and I'm not willing to spend 300 on a stealthbox..

I need help to match a good sub to this box. I know it's not the best box so I don't expect the best sub but I would like the best match haha.... my issue is a g35 coupe trunk, I keep a small jack in there for emergency and my tool bag for work takes a good amount of space. I need a box where on rainy days I don't have to gently put my tool bag away without stuffing it in there. I need to be able to open trunk , put them in and close trunk

You would be better off throwing your money in the trash than to buy a generic 8" enclosure. Neither of the suggested 8s so far will drop into that enclosure as the cutout diameters are bigger. That means you're already investing extra time into making it work. 5/8" MDF isn't automatically a bad thing, but even "just" an 8" subwoofer should have an enclosure that makes a better effort to minimize losses to wall flexing and resonances.

Custom enclosure builders are everywhere online. I'm not sure who is doing that on this forum today, but take a look around.

Yeah you'd have to sand down the box about .200 of an inch to make the diameter fit, I figured you were going for more of a budget build, but if you're not I'd look maybe going to a shop and having them build you a small box for the sub's specific specs.

The problem is noone is gonna bother building box for so cheap. A local shop or builder who has a ready to go shop at home might build that for 50 bucks. Its only about 10 dollars worth of materials but will take an hour or two to assemble and finish properly. For 26 bucks its not terrible. Id sand .1 inch all the way around to make it fit.

Ok so this is y I come on here and I appreciate u guys help.....most of the time lol... I contacted someone near me for a custom box. He said he will build me a box . Vented for 200 ND sealed for 150. He's pushing me to get Image dynamic subs since he is a dealer. I mentioned a few subs that have great reviews but he still trying to convince me with I'd subs. 2 8s. The id series 85 each 350 rms

OR idq 8 155 each 500 rms each. It don't look like he's overcharging me at all but can I do better subs for the price. How good are these subs , anything better in range? I want clean bass not hear me down the block bass.
