8 eqhs as midbass?

im not very advanced in the midbass area of caraudio ...

i could get a pair of the eqhs 8's from elemental designs ...

would these be nesscary to use paired with a rd alpha/sundown 1500d ...

are they worth it?

thats the thing i dont really know parsay ..

im just learning the idea of midbass ... so im just seeing if its worth it to install

I have toyed with the idea of using mine as midbasses playing 40/50/63 up to 250Hz. I've got a bout 300W on tap per driver @ 4 ohms.

They've got a qts of ~.5 if I remember right, so I thought they might work out ok. Still haven't gotten around to it, though.

something of that level would be sufficient for me ...

just wondering if the output would be substainial enough to put in ...

TRdoc when you get it in i'd like to come hear it. I've been contemplating going 8s up front or switching out for two pairs of 6.5s but can't really decide nor know how well it will fit in the car. I'd like to hear these 8s though.
